Silent Guided Retreat: “Praying Again for the First Time”
Sunday Evening, June 18th – Saturday Morning, June 24th, 2023
“God brought me out into a spacious place;
God rescued me because God delighted in me.” Psalm 18:19
Have you ever said, “I wish I could pray.” “I don’t have time to pray.” I don’t know how to pray.” “I get so distracted when I pray.”
Are you longing for God? God is longing for you, too!
You are invited to this spacious week for nurturing, renewing, and deepening your relationship with God. The retreat encompasses guiding presentations, exploration of creative pathways of prayer, opportunities for shared reflection, and time for personal prayer. All are welcome, including those who are "spiritual, but not religious,” and those who feel marginalized by church or culture.
This retreat will be a “silent retreat” to support our desire to deepen our communication and relationship with God. Silence is a gift that we can give to one another. In keeping with this atmosphere, all meals are taken in silence.
