Maris Stella 2023 Covid Protocols
Maris Stella is following the State of New Jersey's recommendations.
Mask wearing is optional but recommended for those not yet vaccinated.
All Maris Stella Guests are expected to be vaccinated.
No proof of vaccination or a negative test is required, but we would hope that out of an abundance of caution all those attending any indoor offering at Maris Stella would be vaccinated or know by means of a negative test that they are not infected with Covid-19.
All guests are expected to bring a few Covid Test Kits with them in the event they are needed.
Any guest experiencing Covid-like symptoms and guests in the same accommodations will be required to test themselves as soon as possible and communicate the result to Sister Mary or Sister Pat. A guest with a Positive result will be required to leave Maris Stella immediately.
A Negative test result is to be followed up with additional testing while at Maris Stella as needed.
Other Guests will be notified of a Positive result and choose to test themselves or if the Administration deems it necessary.
Maris Stella, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth is a center that provides a ministry of hospitality, offering space and nourishment to individuals and groups seeking physical, psychological and spiritual enrichment.
Located on the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay, it is a rich resource for study and reflection on the sacredness of creation.
