“Advent Saints for the Twenty-First Century”
Date: Saturday, November 18th, 2023 – 10:00am – 3:30pm
All of life is advent, living in between times, waiting in joyful expectation. Who are the Advent saints today who model for us how to open our minds and hearts to the promptings of the Holy Spirit? We will meet a few of them on this retreat, Oscar Romero, Dorothy Day, Daniel Berrigan, and Joan Chittister. They challenge us to embrace Christ now as we await his coming again. Each of these Advent saints model hope as we navigate into an unknown future. We move forward with hope and joy!
