Summer Guided Retreat: When the soul longs and the heart sings!

Date: Sunday, June 14 – Saturday, June 20, 2020

The sickness of our times is ‘forgetting’ who we are. This retreat will inspire remembering the truth of who we are and to whom we belong. Carmel Boyle will guide this retreat, drawing on Celtic and contemplative wisdom, that will expand the heart center with a sense of belonging. It is an invitation to attune our hearts for deeper relationship with the Holy One and contemplate our soul’s longing for the Great Mystery.

Carmel offers an experience of praying together, with gentle guidance, a sacred contemplative space, pondering questions, inspiring stories and her unique original sacred songs. Participants will hear the song in their own hearts and let their hearts sing. Themes for the retreat are inspired by the Celtic and Christian Mystical Traditions that have inspired Carmel’s own heart and contemplative spirit. Her songs are the basis of her presentations and incapsulate her spiritual message. Participants will be invited to journey with Irish saints and mystical women. Participants will listen to songs and engage with the stories of Celtic saints and women mystics.

Breakfast and lunch will be shared in prayerful silence and conversation will be enjoyed at dinner.
