The holiday season begins with Thanksgiving and it is no sooner over and planning and preparations for Christmas are thrust upon us! How easily the season of Advent can get lost!
Advent (from, "ad-venire" in Latin or "to come to") is a holy time of preparation that can lead our hearts and minds to the deeper meaning of our lives and Christmas.
Before the rushing and busyness begins, the Saturday before Thanksgiving offers us the opportunity to experience a day in the quiet stillness of God that leads to the peace and hope we all long for at Christmas.

Presenter: Sr Pat Klemm OSF is a native of NJ and has been a Franciscan Sister of Allegany for 55 years. Pat has ministered in education, healthcare, parish ministry, formation ministry and leadership. She currently resides in Allegany, NY, and is a member of the Congregational Leadership Team.
