As Pilgrims during the season of Lent we both gather and scatter stones. This Day of Reflection will focus on the stones we treasure as we explore the personal landscapes of our life. Poet Mary Oliver asks, “Do stones Feel?”.
Presenter: Sr. Marion Scranton is a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth, where she majored in Spanish and she taught at the Elementary and High School Levels.
Sister Marion’s ministry transitioned from education to health care serving in St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic and Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth where she developed community outreach programs. Sister Marion studied pastoral care and became certified as a chaplain at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Sister Marion studied at the An Croi Wisdom Institute located in Ireland to become a spiritual guide. An Croi translates to “of the heart.” An Croi gave her a new and deep appreciation for contemplation.

Holy Week – Wednesday, March 31st - Easter Sunday, April 4th
Maris Stella is available for those interested in private retreat time during Holy Week. There is no formal retreat program or meals offered. There is limited space available.
